Words of Wisdom
Today across the world people are pulling pranks on love one! Just this morning my niece and nephew
were running around my parents home trying to fool grandma! I heard this scenario:
Niece: "Grandma Donnie, I broke my ankle!"
Grandma: (running toward the child) "You did, does it hurt!?"
Niece: "No, April Fools!"
As we are in this week of Passover I feel obliged to send an April Fools message to our adversary the
devil. This week is so important to the body of believers! During this week there are 7 key things that
happen,
1) Jesus is anointed by Mary in preparation for His Burial
2) Jesus enters Jerusalem and is hailed as King Hosanna to the son of David! (Palm Sunday
celebration)
3) Jesus turns over the tables in the temple, Declares that "My House shall be a House of Prayer but
you have made it a Den of Thieves"
4) Jesus introduces the covenant of Communion, where we partner in His death so that we can reap
the benefits of His Resurrection.
5) Jesus is found innocent of any guilt but is sentenced to death by crucifixion
6) Jesus goes to hell with the Keys and redeems
7) Jesus Rises from death, by the Power of God, 3 days after His crucifixion with all power in His
hand!!!!!!!!!!!!
How awesome is that!!!!!! With all of that said, I tell you the joke is not on me! Through the Power of the
Resurrection we have the power to overcome! Don't fall for the devils "practical' jokes!
He will tell you that you are sick but you tell him April Fools because By Christ's stripes I am healed!
He will tell you that you are will never amount to anything but you tell him April Fools because"I can do all
things through Christ that Strengthens Me!"
He will tell you that the Lord is not listening to you but you tell him April Fools because God promises to
NEVER LEAVE ME NOR FORSAKE ME!
He will tell you that you don't deserve salvation it but you tell him April Fools because the gift of God is
eternal life!!!!!!
This list can go on for days! I encourage you, don't be fooled by the devil! We have power through
Jesus Christ to overcome the enemy!
