Matthew 21The Triumphal Entry
1As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus
sent two disciples, 2saying to them, "Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you
will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me. 3If
anyone says anything to you, tell him that the Lord needs them, and he will send them
right away." 4This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet: 5"Say to
the Daughter of Zion, 'See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey.' “6The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed
them. 7They brought the donkey and the colt, placed their cloaks on them, and Jesus
sat on them. 8A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut
branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 9The crowds that went ahead
of him and those that followed shouted, "Hosanna to the Son of David!" "Blessed is he
who comes in the name of the Lord!", "Hosanna, in the highest!"

Who would have thought that you would have made it to this point?  God has brought
you to a place of distinction, a place of authority, a place were you see God manifesting
his promises in your life.  You see all the things that you have accomplished but know
there is so much more that you are supposed to do. I often wonder if I am still
influential to the body of Christ; if my ministry is pertinent to the edification and
equipping of the saints. When I recall the promises and the prophetic words spoken
over my LIFE, I wonder when I can see everything that God promised.  There is so much
that still needs to be done.  When is He going to make it happen?  Wow, how selfish of
me to think that all I had to do was sit idly by and wait for God to do it for me!
I wanted to share this scripture because of this one thing JESUS MADE THE PROPHECY
COME TRUE!!!!! He didn't wait for others to remember that he was supposed to ride in
on a donkey but because He knew that the prophet spoke it he acted upon it and
fulfilled that which was spoken over His life.
Many of us remember the countless prophecies that preachers or people in passing
have spoken over us.  We wrote the vision, we asked God to help us achieve our
dreams but we were slack in working the vision!  Let us begin to work our prophecy.
Don't lose hope don't lose your ambition.  It’s alright to practice your sermon.  It’s
alright to rehearse your dance.  It’s alright to inquiry on the price of that building.  Go
ahead and purchase that suit.  Only you know what God has promised you!  Let's sing,
rehearse, fellowship, and LIVE ON PURPOSE!
I did it on Purpose!
